  • The incident reportedly occurred after Sir Tony refused to accommodate a Pitch@Palace event at Buckingham Palace, leading to Andrew "lashing out" in a "kinetic" blow.
  • Sir Tony reported the altercation to the Lord Chamberlain, who then raised the matter with the then-Prince Charles, prompting him to speak to his brother.
  • The book also details another incident where Andrew "bellowed" at a driver near royal horses in Windsor and the royal household's anger over his 2019 Newsnight interview.
  • Andrew was stripped of his military roles and HRH title in January 2022, a month before settling a legal dispute with Virginia Giuffre.
