Returning Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has delivered a strong message of love for loan club Flamengo ahead of his return to Carrington.
The playmaker has not played for United for more than two years but will join back up with Erik ten Hag’s squad after the Brazilian club opted against triggering his £8.5m option-to-buy clause. Fulham are said to be keen to tie up a deal for Pereira.
But in another twist, Flamengo are still hopeful of securing a cut-price fee. And it seems if Pereira had the choice, it is clear which team he would rather join, judging by his farewell message to the South American outfit.

He ended his loan spell at Flamengo with a sensational goal in the Copa Libertadores. And now he has delivered a message to his former club.
Writing on Instagram, he said: “Flamengo's greatest asset is its fans. Flamengo is the people, Flamengo is the spirit… it's everywhere!
“There's no way to know if you don't live what it's like to be… Wherever you go, no matter the place, it will be marked on who you are.
“Today I am… I love Flamengo! And that, no one can change, or take away from me.”
He added: “I want to thank Marcos Braz (vice-president), Bruno Spindel (CEO) and everyone who worked hard so that I could live this unforgettable experience. I know they fought until the end so I could stay.
“Today, we are parting ways as an athlete. But I join this entire nation, and I know that it will always be with me, supporting me until I return to the home I chose to love. Once Flamengo, always Flamengo. See you soon…”
