Leeds United majorty owner Andrea Radrizzani has apologised to the club's fans following their relegation from the Premier League, The Italian was not at Elland Road as Sam Allardyce's side lost 4-1 to Tottenham Hotspur to finish second bottom in table and join Southampton and Leicester City in next season's Championship.
However, with fans still waiting for news of progress in the takeover deal with 49ers Enterprises, Radrizzani has taken to social media to express how 'sincerely sorry' he was for the club's plight.
He spoke about 'significant invesments' made to keep the Whites in the top-flight and has pledged to form a 'clear strategy' to help the club get back on track.
