Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday expressed shock and grief over the tragic death of eight passengers in bus accident on the Bhakarapet ghat road in Chittoor district.
Mr. Naidu conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members. It was heart-wrenching that the ghastly mishap took place in a family that was in the midst of celebrating a marriage, he said.
In a statement on Sunday, the TDP president urged the Government of Andhra Pradesh to ensure better healthcare services to the injured passengers.
In another statement, TDP Andhra Pradesh unit president K. Atchannaidu expressed shock. “At least now, the State government should focus on the issues pertaining to road safety,” he said and urged the government to provide all the necessary support to the bereaved families.
