Andhra Pradesh: Lokesh launches opinion poll on Jagan’s Delhi visit

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary N. Lokesh has launched an opinion poll on Twitter on the visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to New Delhi.

Mr. Lokesh on Tuesday gave four choices to people to express their opinion on what issues the Chief Minister would raise during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The first question asked by Mr. Lokesh was whether  Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would seek Delhi’s support for rescuing Avinash Reddy from the Vivekananda Reddy murder case. He also asked the people to respond if the Chief Minister would seek to use his influence in the national capital to cover up the unaccounted use of ₹48,000 crore.

The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report flagged the use of ‘public funds without budgetary approvals’.

Mr. Lokesh expressed surprise whether Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, like in his previous visit, would seek closure of the investigation into the CBI and the ED cases.

“The Chief Minister has been surviving on bail in all these cases. Every time, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy visits Delhi, questions are being raised on this aspect in the media,” said Mr. Lokesh.

The TDP MLC asked the respondents to say whether the Chief Minister would urge Delhi to reframe laws to nullify the property rights given to women.
