VIJAYAWADA: The state government will launch its official movie ticketing portal ‘Your Screens’ to sell tickets online at rates prescribed by the government. T Vijaykumar Reddy, managing director of AP Film, Television and Theater Development Corporation, said the government is committed to providing entertainment to the public at no additional burden.
Reddy asked theatre managements to cast aside apprehensions as they can continue selling tickets simultaneously on other online platforms. He said the ticket revenue will be credited to theatre managements every day without delay and a nominal fee will be charged. “We have fixed1.95 as charges. This reduces the burden on movie lovers,” Reddy added.
