Andhra Pradesh finalises DPR for Bengaluru-Vijayawada national highway

AMARAVATI: State government has finalised the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the prestigious national highway between Bengaluru and Vijayawada.

The proposed highway has been designed in such way that it is closer to Pulivendula, the home town of the chief minister. Union minister Nitin Gadkari had already granted his in-principle nod to take up the highway following a request from chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
