He added introduction of English medium and development of infrastructure has helped increase enrolment in public schools. Responding to the question by YSRC members Kakani Goverdhan Reddy, Jogi Ramesh, Hafeez Khan, Karanam Dharmasri, Vidadala Rajani and Malladi Vishnu, the minister told the assembly on Tuesday that the government had already obtained the views of parents and students on the medium of instruction.
