Eluru district, Bhimavaram as headquarters of W.G. launched

West Godavari Eluru Bhimavaram Revenue

The new Eluru district was inaugurated on April 4 while Bhimavaram was made the new headquarters of West Godavari district.

West Godavari district will now have two Revenue divisions—Bhimavaram and Narsapuram—and 19 mandals.

Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman Koyye Moshen Raju, Housing Minister Cherukuwada Sri Ranganadha Raju, Bhimavaram MLA Grandhi, Tadepalligudem MLA Kottu Satyanarayana, Srinivas, West Godavari Collector P. Prasanthi, Superintendent of Police U. Ravi Prakash and other officers participated in the inaugural function.
