Srikakulam: The Andhra Pradesh police have booked two men for allegedly dumping mud on a mother-daughter duo who were trying to stage a sit-in protest over a property dispute in a village in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam.

Sub Inspector of Mandasa police, Ravi Kumar, said that the police have booked and arrested the tractor driver Prakasa Rao, and a relative of the victim women Rama Rao, under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
