Anderlecht vs West Ham: Kick off time, prediction, TV, live stream, team news, h2h today

West Ham will look to maintain their perfect start to the Europa Conference League group stage tonight as they travel to face Anderlecht.

David Moyes’ side sit top of Group B after wins over FCSB and Silkeborg, with results coming in Europe even while the team struggled significantly in the Premier League.

The Hammers will be in confident mood after their recent victory over Wolves, though this is their toughest test of the group. Positive displays in this match against Anderlecht, and the reverse fixture in London next week, would go a long way to securing qualification for West Ham.

They are favourites to do just that, with Anderlecht sitting 10th in their domestic league and only managing a draw last time out against FCSB.

Here’s all you need to know about the Europa Conference League clash...

Anderlecht vs West Ham team news

Jan Vertonghen is expected to start for the hosts, with the former Tottenham centre-back well aware of the threat West Ham pose to Anderlecht.

Amadou Diawara is pushing for a start in midfield, but Marco Kana and Adrien Trebel are expected to miss out once again.

Even with this being West Ham’s toughest test of the group, some rotation is expected with the fixture list so packed between now and the World Cup next month.

Maxwel Cornet is a doubt after he was forced off in the first-half against Wolves with a leg injury, while Ben Johnson is back in contention for his first appearance in more than a month after returning to training following a thigh issue.

Anderlecht vs West Ham prediction

There has been just one goal across Anderlecht’s first two group-stage matches, and while the Hammers have been more adventurous in Europe, they are well capable of keeping things tight themselves.

It looks set to be a cagey affair, with a draw not being a bad result for West Ham, but they should have enough quality to just edge it and take a big step towards sealing top spot.

West Ham to win, 1-0.

Head to head (h2h) history and results
