And Just Like That fans weren't happy when the show aired an anti-Semitic jibe on Holocaust Memorial Day.
The Sex and the City spin-off only has one episode left, but there was plenty of drama in its penultimate offering.
In a shocking scene Anthony Marentino, played by Mario Cantone brought his new boyfriend, Justin, for dinner at Charlotte and Harry Goldenblatt's.
However after hearing Charlotte, played by Kristin Davis tell her hubby the challah bread was in the oven, Justin quipped: "Is this a Jewish dinner? You know the Holocaust is a hoax, right?"
Without pausing for breath Anthony screamed: "Get out!"
But for many fans the damage was done.
The episode aired last night on Holocaust Memorial Day during which people remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust, under Nazi Persecution.
One viewer wrote on Twitter : "The Holocaust moment. I’m speechless. Did they have to include that? #AndJustLikeThat."
Another said: "The Holocaust comment. On premier date for Europe: The 27th of January. Yeah, not great in my opinion."
A third wrote: "My jaw dropped at Anthony’s date making the Holocaust comment. Came out of nowhere. It just…was not funny at all."
While a fourth fumed: "Know your f**king audience… A joke about the holocaust on the official memorial day….are you f**king kidding me! #HolocaustRemembranceDay."
The eagerly-awaited series in which Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda try and navigate their 50s has come under fire by many fans for trying to be too 'woke'.
After the opening episode in which Miranda, played by Cynthia Nixon makes a number of blunders about diversity, one viewer tweeted: "They are pushing the whole woke cultural wedge issues way too much on #SATC sequel."
Another added: "Half way through first ep and as a longtime SATC fan i just wanted to know what they’d all been up to, with a bit of nostalgia & fabulous styling.
"But it’s a cringe fest of how to cram as much woke as humanly possible in."
There was also the bombshell storyline in which Miranda dumped loveable hubby Steve, played by David Eigenberg, for non-binary character Che Diaz.
Carrie's boss, played by Sara Ramirez, turned Miranda's head almost immediately, but many fans can't forgive the SATC stalwart for cheating on the father of her son, Brady.
One fan said the former corporate lawyer had gone from the "most relatable" to the "most frustrating".
And Just Like That's final episode airs on NOW TV and Sky on Thursday.
