ANAS Sarwar is under pressure to reveal whether his elevation to the House of Lords is a reward for betraying Keir Starmer, amid calls for his salary to be donated to charity.

The former Scottish Labour leader will quit his position to take up a seat in the unelected upper chamber in Westminster after leading his party to its fifth humiliating Holyrood defeat in a row in May.
