Residential transfers for SET-listed developers SC Asset Corporation and Ananda Development kept rising in the first three quarters as market sentiment improved.
Attapol Sariddipuntawat, chief corporate officer of SC Asset, said the company projects presales and revenue of 22 billion baht each, as targeted, by the end of the year because of its performance growth in the first three quarters.
"Our nine-month figures resulted in a new record high in presales, driven by low-rise houses, which is our strongest segment," he said.
For the period, SC recorded 17.2 billion baht in presales, up 7% year-on-year and more than 75% for low-rise houses.
Housing revenue for transfers in the first nine months totalled 13.6 billion baht, of which 12.2 billion was from low-rise houses.
This represents a new record high for the developer and a growth of 15% year-on-year.
In the third quarter, SC realised revenue of 5 billion baht, up from 4.9 billion and 3.6 billion in the second and first quarters, respectively.
SC reported consolidated revenue of 14.3 billion baht in the first nine months, up 6% from the same period last year, with a net profit of 1.62 billion baht, rising 9%.
Ananda Development posted 4.42 billion baht in residential transfers in the third quarter which included its own development and joint ventures, up from 3.47 billion baht and 1.41 billion baht in the second and first quarters, respectively.
Compared with the same period last year, third-quarter transfers soared 149% while presales rose 70% to 4.1 billion baht.
The key driver was condo which accounted for 84% and 75% of transfer and presales, respectively.
Ananda aims to have 13 billion baht in transfers and 15.6 billion baht in presales by the end of 2022.
