Anais Gallagher received a reaction she perhaps wasn't expecting as she shared photos of her new tattoo. The daughter of legendary former Oasis star Noel Gallagher revealed a simple inking on her hip of the name 'NIN' written in capital letters.
The 22-year-old photographer went under the needle in tribute to her namesake Anais Nin, the late French erotic writer. She posted snaps of her tat with the Nin quote "I’m restless. Things are calling me away. My hair is being pulled by the stars again."
Anais was named after her mum Meg Matthews' favourite author when she was welcomed into the world at London's Portland Hospital on January 27 2000. But many fans thought 'NIN' was a homage to the American rock band Nine Inch Nails.

Anais told fans she wished she'd 'worn nicer pants' as she showed the tattoo.
Earlier this month followers expressed their delight as she shared a photo of herself in her famous father's home city.
She looked super-stylish in a khaki green zip-up jacket with a yellow and grey scarf and chic cream sunglasses.
