An Post has launched a brand news digital stamp as part of an exciting initiative.
This means people will no longer have to wait in long queues to buy physical stamps at post offices. The national postal service is also offering next-day delivery across the Republic of Ireland as long as your mail makes it into the postbox before the last time of posting.
All you need to do is buy a digital stamp through the An Post app and write down the 12 unique numbers and letters on top of your envelope. Then all you need to do is drop it in a post box near you and it'll be on its merry way to the receiver.

You will get an automatic email after the item is delivered. You can also choose to receive a push notification from the app or a text message to your phone.
You can find the An Post app on Google's Play Store or the Apple App Store.
