The Jacksonville Jaguars might have the motorsport fever along with the rest of America.
The 2023 AFC South winners will likely have to play away from the TIAA Bank Field during the 2025 and 2026 NFL seasons due to renovations to their arena -- and its eyeing the Daytona International Speedway as a potential temporary location for its home games.

The two sides are expected to meet soon according to the Daytona International Speedway president Frank Kelleher.
“As good neighbors in the Florida sports community, DIS will be speaking with the Jacksonville Jaguars to see if we can assist them with their potential upcoming facility needs around our scheduled events,” Kelleher said in a statement released on Saturday, June 10.
The Jaguars’ lease at TIAA Bank Field ends in 2029, so the upgrades are expected to be a huge draw in keeping the franchise that’s played in the arena since 1995.
Other possible temporary options that have been discussed include the University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, Orlando’s Camping World Stadium, and the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium.
The renovations for TIAA Bank Field have yet to be approved as negotiations continue between the city government and the franchise, but the Jaguars already released sample renders of the arena in a video on June 7.
The renovations are expected to cost somewhere between $1.3 to $1.4 billion, with the city shouldering about $800 to $900 million.
