The BAFTA-winning film An Irish Goodbye is to receive its television premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC Northern Ireland ahead of the 2023 Oscars.
The short, written and directed by East Belfast filmmaker Ross White and his creative partner Tom Berkeley, recently won 'Best British Short Film' and is hoping to take home 'Best Live Action Short' at the Academy Awards on March 12.
Set against the backdrop of a working farm in rural Northern Ireland, the black comedy An Irish Goodbye follows the reunion of estranged brothers Turlough (Seamus O’Hara) and Lorcan (James Martin) after the untimely death of their mother.
