An 88-year-old man told the staff treating him that he was dead. Not dying. Dead, lying in the morgue, waiting to be taken to the crematorium. He said his bones were already gone because they had been cremated. He said his wife had died too, and that the two of them had been brought to the hospital together.
He said all of it while awake, alert, and cooperative with the examination. Psychiatrists at the University of Pécs in Hungary published the case in Frontiers in Psychiatry.
