Amy Winehouse's ex-husband has said that the pair talked about rekindling their romantic relationship just days before her death.
Appearing on Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast released on Monday (16 March), Blake Fielder-Civil opened up on the moment that he learnt that the “Back to Black” singer had died of alcohol poisoning in 2013.
Fielder-Civil, who was serving a 32-month prison sentence for domestic burglary, told Brunson that the couple “were still very much talking about the possibility of reconciling again” shortly before her death.
He added that he believes that he and Winehouse would still be in each other’s lives had she not died. “I have no qualms about saying that.”
