Amy Schumer goes after Alec Baldwin and his 'sociopath' wife in new Netflix special

Amy Schumer went after Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria in her latest Netflix special, Emergency Contact.

During her set about parenting and motherhood, Amy pointed out that "Hilaria from Espana" is actually "Hillary from Boston."

The 42-year-old reminded her audience that Hilaria, a former yoga instructor "is in no way Spanish - her parents are not from Spain, no one in her life is from Spain."

Despite hailing from Massachusetts, Hilaria had given her “von Trapp amount of children” very “Spanish names like Jamón and Croqueta and Flamenco,” Amy joked, explaining Hilaria's commitment to her fake-identity bit.

She went on to tell her viewers that she wasn't trying to “bully a sociopath” and pointed out that Hilaria, 39, and her husband Alec, 65, simply “don’t give a f***” in regards to the cultural identity and also about the fatal shooting of 'Rust' cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

“This woman, since she met her husband, has straight-up pretended she is from Spain. And her husband shot someone,” Amy said. “Now stay with me! My point is that neither of them give a f***.”

Amy's comments about Hilaria's heritage and her previous mentions of her ever-changing accent come after the 39-year-old was forced to address the backlash.

In an Instagram video she confessed to being born in Beantown as Hillary before claiming that she'd "some of my childhood in Boston, some of my childhood in Spain.”

“Yes, I am a white girl, my family is white,” she said. “If I’ve been speaking a lot of Spanish, I tend to mix them or if I’m speaking a lot of English, I mix that, it’s one of those things I’ve always been a bit insecure about."

Meanwhile in Amy's Netflix special, she added that her lawyers had warned her not to joke about the Oscars but she couldn't resist getting a jab in her set.

“‘Don’t Look Up’ is the name of a movie? More like don’t look down the barrel of Alec Baldwin’s shotgun. I wasn’t allowed to say any of that, but you can just come up and [slap] someone,” she joked, referring to Will Smith infamously hitting Chris Rock.
