Amy Schumer revealed a joke about Alec Baldwin 's Rust shooting that was banned from being told at the Oscar Awards earlier this month.
The actress and comedian, who co-hosted the eventful awards show with Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, previously had a few choice words to say about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.
While discussing the smack - which happened after Chris made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith's hair - she brought up the 'axed' joke about Alec, which angered fans.
Appearing at a stand-up show at Las Vegas’s Mirage Theatre this weekend, she reportedly told the audience: "I don’t even know what to say about the Oscars.
"I was kind of feeling myself…and then all of a sudden, Ali [comparing Will Smith to Muhammad Ali] was making his way up. And it was just a f**king bummer.
"All I can say is that it was really sad, and I think it says so much about toxic masculinity.
"It was really upsetting, but I think the best way to comfort ourselves would be for me to say the Oscar jokes that I wasn’t allowed to say on TV."
Vanity Fair reported that she said her lawyer told her not to make any jokes directed at Joe Rogan and James Franco.
She also referred to Alec accidentally fatally shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust in October last year.
Director Joel Souza was also injured during the shooting. Alec has since said he feels 'no guilt' over the shooting.
"Don’t Look Up is the name of a movie? More like don’t look down the barrel of Alec Baldwin’s shotgun," Amy disclosed one of her jokes.
"I wasn’t allowed to say any of that [at the Oscars], but you can just come up and [slap] someone."
People were outraged that Amy condemned the slap but wanted to make a joke about the death of Halyna.
They were especially furious as she previously released a statement saying she was 'traumatised' by the slapping incident.

Taking to social media, one user said: "Amy Schumer: Will Smith slapping Chris Rock was a traumatic moment for poor me. Also Amy Schumer: Remember when Alec Baldwin killed a woman! Isn't that funny!"
"So she can make that joke but is “traumatized” by the slap?" another questioned her statement.
One user added: "why would she ever publicly admit this," while one said: "So the slap triggered Amy Schumer but the actual death of a colleague was not only not triggering to her but it warranted Amy making jokes about it. Do i have this right?"
"She's.... upset that she wasn't allowed to joke about a person's tragic death???" another questioned.
Since the slapping incident, Will apologised for his behaviour and even resigned from the Academy.
