Amy Huberman has shared her hilarious reaction after her husband Brian O'Driscoll accidentally took the wrong dog home from the groomers.
The 43-year-old actress took to Instagram to share the peculiar story after her rugby star partner walked into their house with someone else's dog.
She said: "Stop it I can't. Still CRYING
"Brian going to the groomers to collect the dog and… taking home the wrong dog!
"Thought perhaps she had needed a serious groom and had taken off the darker fluff. Off they skipped. I cannot! He may defo need an oil top up on the laser eye surgery…
Thank you so our ledge groomers for being so understanding
"And hope that other lovely dog enjoyed her 48 seconds in our gaff before going home".
Amy joked that she would be picking up the kids from school this week just in case a red-faced Brian returned with the wrong children.
She said: "Also I think I'll collect the kids from school this week."
Before she added that she wouldn't be asking Brian for a lift home from the hairdressers any time soon.
"Also, I'm not sure I'll ask him to give me a lift home from the hairdressers next time in case he heads off with someone else's wife…"
The rugby legend also shared his side of the story on his Instagram page after he made the journey all the way back to his Rathmines home before realising his mistake.
The former Ireland captain said the fresh trim made him brush off the small differences in appearance.
He also said he thought his beloved pooch was less animated than normal because she hates getting her haircut.
He said: "When you take the wrong dog all the home from the groomers.
"I just thought all the black had been sheared off her face and she was a bit quiet with me cos she hates getting her hair cut"
Amy and Brian got married in July 2010 and share three children together: Sadie, 9; Billy, 7 and Ted, 1.
