Amy Hart's dad nabbed his newborn grandson a junior football membership at just six hours old, the Love Island star has revealed, making sure he got their before Amy's partner, Sam.
The TV personality, 30, announced on Instagram that she and Sam had welcomed their bundle of joy on March 3, calling him "our dreamy baby boy", later revealing his name is Stanley Samuel Giles Rason.
Amy kept fans up to date with her pregnancy and now first-time motherhood, and has revealed that Stanley is already a junior member of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C, thanks to her dad Ian.
The podcaster shared a picture of a page from the club's magazine, with a small article about Stanley.
The short piece read: "Celebrating 50 years of watching the club this season, tonight's matchball sponsor Ian Hart recently welcomed the arrival of his first grandchild, Stanley Samuel Giles Rason, who was born on Friday, March 3 at 3.31am.
Later that day, Stanley signed up for Albion Junior membership at just six hours old, with Harty getting in early with the choice of his grandson's club as Stanley's dad, Sam, is originally a Tottenham fan!"
Amy then wrote of the piece: "Can just picture my Dad sat by the phone at 8.59 ready to call Brighton to sign Stanley up as a Junior Seagull [two crying and laughing face emojis]."
Earlier this month, the 2019 Love Island star shared the sweet meaning behind her son's three monikers, explaining they are inspired by her grandad, her brother and of course Sam himself.
"Stanley Samuel Giles Rason," Amy and Sam wrote in a joint caption when sharing a new snap of their son.
Explaining the names, they said: "Stanley: We loved the name and also Amy’s Grandad Geoffs middle name.
"Samuel: After @samuelrason obviously but also Amys brother is Samuel too!
"Giles: Nanny and Grandads last name, hopefully he’ll inherit their love of shots!
Amy and Sam waited until they were home with their tot to share the news of his birth, posting adorable beaming selfies with their newborn.
In the announcement, Amy wrote: "Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were Braxton hicks…they weren’t ), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later,
we are home with our dreamy baby boy born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love.
The new mum has spoken of how she utilised hypnobirthing to help herself stay relaxed while she was in labour for four days.
Amy was in labour for longer than medical experts thought as her contractions were initially dismissed as Braxton hicks.
However, she explained to OK!, she used a technique known as hypnobirthing - which is when a mother uses relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to help relax the body before and during labour and birth.
