Amtrak could soon allow people to bring guns on most of its trains in a move that critics say would weaken security measures rather than strengthen them after last weekend's White House Correspondents' Association dinner shooting.
The company has been considering a policy change that would let customers store guns in lockboxes since at least early this year, after being pressured by the Trump administration to ease restrictions on transporting weapons.
