Amritpal’s aide booked under Arms Act in J&K's Kishtwar; Police seek his custody for investigation

JAMMU: After cancelation of the arms licenses of fugitive Amritpal Singh's two aides including Varinder Singh, the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday booked him under the Arms Act in connection with a gun licence issued to him in Kishtwar district. The district police also has sought his custody for further investigations.

Kishtwar police said that it will probe how the former army jawan, who was sacked in 2015, procured the licence in 2014 and then kept getting it renewed in different districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
