Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is having a monster season. He’s in the top five in the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns. He’s a serious contender for All-Pro status.
Yet, somehow, St. Brown did not make the initial Pro Bowl roster. He’s a first alternate at wide receiver for the NFC, behind Mik Evans, CeeDee Lamb, Puka Nacua and A.J. Brown.
St. Brown doesn’t want to be disrespectful of the guys who made it, but he isn’t happy about being snubbed.
“The receivers that got picked, they’re great players, but I was hot,” St. Brown said after the rosters were announced this week.
As he’s proven in the past, St. Brown plans on channeling the perceived disrespect into fuel for more greatness.
“I guess I didn’t do enough during the season, so I’ve got to go harder,” St. Brown told reporters.
