MUZAFFARNAGAR: In his debut political rally in Muzaffarnagar, BJP stalwart and Union home minister Amit Shah hinted at the imminent incarceration of corrupt politicians. Shah said the elections were more about getting Modi elected as PM for the third consecutive time. “This is an opportunity to wipe out Congress and SP and ensure a win on all 80 Lok Sabha seats,” he said.
Addressing a crowd at Rashtriya Inter College in Shahpur, Shah tore into the opposition INDIA bloc, saying, "This is an arrogant alliance that has gathered just for the elections. These are the people who have committed scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore. Modi ji had said in 2014 that anyone involved in corruption would go to jail, and he has reiterated the same this year."
