Ameriprise Financial Earnings Preview: What to Expect

Ameriprise Financial Amp

Headquartered in Minnesota, Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (AMP), along with its subsidiaries, offers a range of financial products and services to both individual and institutional clients in the United States and internationally. Boasting a market cap of $43.7 billion, it operates independently of American Express Company and is organized into Advice & Wealth Management; Asset Management; Retirement & Protection Solutions; and Corporate & Other segments. The company is expected to announce its fiscal second-quarter earnings for 2024 after the market closes on Wednesday, July 24.

Ahead of the event, analysts expect Ameriprise Financial to report a profit of $8.49 per share, up 14.1% from $7.44 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company successfully beat the bottom-line estimates in each of the last four quarters.
