According to the Labor Department's latest report, the number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits dropped significantly last week. It's like watching a magician make joblessness disappear! Jobless claims fell by a whopping 18,000 to a total of 202,000 for the week ending December 30th. Talk about kicking off the new year with a bang!
