American Hostages Killed By Hamas In Gaza, Families Demand Action

Families of Israelis held hostage by Hamas hold press conference in Madrid

The families of American hostages held in Gaza are expressing their outrage and grief after the Israeli military confirmed the tragic deaths of Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin and five other hostages at the hands of Hamas in Gaza.

In a joint statement released on Sunday, the families condemned the 'vicious and senseless' murder of Hersh, emphasizing that it serves as further evidence of Hamas's brutality towards hostages in captivity. They lamented the dwindling hope of bringing any hostages home alive, stressing that the risks are escalating with each passing day.

Having warned for 331 days about the possibility of such a tragic outcome, the families declared, 'Enough is enough.'

As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces criticism for the lack of progress in finalizing a Gaza ceasefire and hostage deal, the families are demanding immediate action.

They called on Prime Minister Netanyahu to swiftly reach an agreement with Hamas to secure the release of the remaining hostages and bring them back to their loved ones. The families stressed the urgency of the situation, urging the return of Sagui, Omer, Edan, and Keith, while also emphasizing the need to bring closure for Judy, Gadi, and Itay.

For the families of the 101 remaining hostages, the plea is clear: 'This nightmare needs to end.'

The families are united in their call for decisive action to ensure the safe return of all hostages and to put an end to the suffering and uncertainty that has plagued them for far too long.
