Sarah Paulson shared her upset online earlier this week, as she tried desperately to help find her friend's missing dog she thought could have been stolen.
The Oceans Eight star was 'on the prowl' trying to find the missing pup and she pleaded with her Instagram followers to keep their eyes peeled for the furry friend with an emotional post.
The missing dog, Winnie, belonged to Cybill Shepherd's daughter, author and Instagram star Clementine Ford.
Sarah seemed to suggest the pup had been 'dognapped' when appealing for her online community to help her track down Winnie.
The "Ratched" actress squarely pointed the guilty finger at the sitter saying: "Help. Spread the word. This woman stole my friend's dog. Share far and wide. I'm begging you.
According to Sarah's friend Clementine, she left Winnie with a sitter she found on the 'Rover' app before heading out of town for a wedding. She claims, the sitter went radio silent when she began asking about the dog.
Clementine says when she returned home there was no sign of the pup or the sitter.
Apparently, Rover gave Clementine the woman's contact info, but at the time Sarah was posting, there had been no contact.
Ford-Wilcox said that she was willing to pay money to get the dog back, describing her canine as 'about 40 pounds' with a 'stubb tail and one floppy ear' maybe mixed with 'some golden' retriever.
The American Horror Story star shared a shot of the missing dog with the caption: 'This is Winnie. Please keep your eyes peeled for her.
Last confirmed location 535 North Hobart Blvd. Please share. @clementineford just wants her dog back. No questions asked.'
Luckily, Winnie and Clementine were soon reunited, with the author telling her Instagram fans on Wednesday: "Winnie's Home and Safe! Thank you everyone! Pics to come..."
No further details about how the pooch returned home have been released.
Clementine's pal Sarah has a love for animals and even adopted her own dog during lockdown, while while on the Ellen show she was seen showing off her dog saying the pup was 'asleep in a little patch of sunlight right now.'
She adopted the pup from a 'wonderful organization' called Paw Works, though they made a suggestion that is practically impossible due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sarah talked about her new puppy wanting to socialize saying it was 'impossible' during lockdown.
'She’s adorable. She’s about seven months. I got her when she was six months old. I rescued her from this place called Paw Works, a wonderful organization,' she began.
