A family vacation took a nightmarish turn for Ryan Watson from Oklahoma, who is currently in Turks and Caicos awaiting his fate after authorities allegedly found ammunition in his luggage. Watson and his wife claimed it was an innocent mistake, but he was arrested on April 12th. Facing the possibility of a 12-year prison sentence due to the country's strict laws on firearms and ammunition, Watson is one of five Americans in a similar predicament.
One of the others charged, Brian Hager from Pennsylvania, recently pleaded guilty to charges of ammunition possession. Watson, along with Hager and Sharita Greer from Florida, are supporting each other during this challenging time, forming a unique bond of solidarity.
