An influential group of American Christians recently made a public declaration reaffirming the Jewish people's right to Judea and Samaria, also known as the West Bank. The declaration was unveiled at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Dallas by American Christian Leaders for Israel and was set to be signed by 3,000 religious leaders before being presented to President Donald Trump.
This push for Israeli sovereignty in the region follows President Trump's announcement that his administration would address the issue of annexation. The Oslo Accords divided the West Bank into three regions, with different levels of Palestinian and Israeli control.
