America's Next Top Model winner Lisa D'Amato has slammed Tyra Banks over the alleged toxic environment on the hit series as she claimed it was like a prison experiment.
Lisa, 42, took to social media Wednesday (April 19) to share a string of posts that slammed Tyra, who hosts the show, as well as producer Ken Mok, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The Cycle 17: All Stars winner, claimed fellow contestants have experienced an "insane amount of trauma" while competing.
Lisa, who has now set her page to private, took aim at the show and likened it to the 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment.
She also claimed Tyra, 49, has blocked her on social media, but continued to tag producer Ken in her rants.
Pleading on her Instagram page, Lisa reportedly wrote: "Plz plz be honest with yourself and everyone else when I say DON'T BE SCARED to truly tell how horrible it was in your interview."
"Don't act tough. Be real. Don't be scared of the fandom. Don't be scared of Tyra or Ken Mok," she went on to add.
She then added: "The light is coming through and more and more the fandom are on our side."
Urging people to speak out, she went on: "Remember this is your life [too]!
"Fight for it! Do you know who is going to stand up for you if you don't? Do you know who is going to save your life if you don't?"
Comparing the show to the aforementioned prison experiment, she continued: "That s*** was the Stanford Prison Experiment to many of us. Google that s***."
LA-based Lisa first stepped into the public eye when she competed in Cycle 5 of the television series America's Next Top Model.
She finished sixth during her first appearance on the show, but eventually went on to win Cycle 17: All-Stars.
This isn't the first time Lisa has taken aim at Tyra and the show that she created, with her speaking out back in January 2021 about how the supermodel would exploit Lisa's childhood trauma during filming.
At the time, she said: "How do you sleep at night?"
"How do you sleep at night knowing that you're torturing and poking at people's, girls' childhood traumas for your own profit?"
In 2020, Tyra addressed the backlash against the show, tweeting: "Been seeing the posts about the insensitivity of some past ANTM moments and I agree with you. Looking back, those were some really off choices. Appreciate your honest feedback and am sending so much love and virtual hugs."
