America’s Got Talent winner cancels upcoming tour appearances

Grace VanderWaal, winner of America's Got Talent season 11, has announced she is withdrawing from her upcoming tour appearances due to mental health struggles.
The 22-year-old singer, who rose to fame at age 12, shared on social media that she has been ”struggling for a while” and is “choosing myself” by stepping back.
VanderWaal was scheduled to join singer-songwriter Natalie Jane on tour and apologised to fans and Jane for the disappointment, assuring them she would sing again ”soon”.
She has previously spoken about the mental repercussions of being in the spotlight from a young age, including dealing with online hate.
Her announcement follows the death of her mother in October 2025, who had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
