YouTube star Amelia Dimoldenberg made an appearance in California as the official red carpet reporter for the Golden Globes last night. The Chicken Shop Dates host was rubbing shoulders with legends in the TV and film world.
In the run up to the event Amelia shared little bits from her preparation, keeping her fans updated. Despite the dreary weather in California, she was able to keep herself upbeat.
At the event, the she interviewed a host of big names from Anya Taylor to Sheryl Lee Ralph, from fellow Briton Daisy Edgar-Jones to the Fonz legend Henry Winkler.

Having Amelia as a reporter on the red carpet seems to have been a popular choice, with many fans reacting to both her posts and the posts put out by the Golden Globes itself. A video of her interview with Henry Winkler was posted on the Golden Globe TikTok account and the response was positive.
One supporter P said: “She’s such a good interviewer. I love her so much, other interviewers take note!!!” Hannah said: “We need Amelia doing every single red carpet please, girl is a legend.” Others chipped in there support too with Max Balegde saying: “Amelia is amazing,” while R said: “I’m so proud of Amelia and how far she’s come over the last few years.”

Her support has even gone as far as high-profile celebrities and sports stars commenting on her posts, Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo put “!!!” in the comment section while Dina Asher Smith, British sprinting star, voiced her support “AAAAAH!!!! Amazing!!!”
