Amber weather warning as thunderstorms bring threat of flooding

An amber weather warning has come into force with dangerous thunderstorms threatening to bring a weekend of flooding to parts of the UK.

The warning was issued by the Met Office for London, parts of the south and south east of England from 4am to 11am on Saturday.
