Amber Heard’s former co-star David Krumholtz says she ‘is a victim’ in Depp trial

Amber Heard can count David Krumholtz as one of the famous names in her corner.

The “Numb3rs” star, 44, who acted alongside Heard, 36, in the 2007 series, “The Playboy Club,” took to his Instagram Story early Thursday to express his support amid her contentious defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

”Amber Heard is a victim of abuse by Johnny Depp. Don’t ya just love his work? Isn’t he handsome? Heard he’s a sweetheart! Captain Jack Sparrow!!!” wrote Krumholtz. “Drugs and alcohol turn men into monsters. I believe Amber Heard.”

Krumholtz addressed the abuse allegations that both ex-spouses have lobbed at each other during the trial, which has captivated the world since it started over a month ago.

“She is not innocent,” Krumholtz claimed, alleging, “But she IS a victim.”

Krumholtz slammed the 58-year-old “Pirates of the Carribean” star for what he called his “smugness” in the midst of the trial and alleged that the latter “lost career opportunities ... because he was a total mess.

“He ruined his public image by being a severe drug abuser and drunk,” he claimed. “I worked with Amber Heard. She is not psychotic. She is brilliant and strong and got caught up in bulls—. She made a mistake. Why is Johnny suing her? Because he has not owned up to his raging addiction issues.”

Depp, in his testimony, admitted to drug and alcohol use but has denied the “Aquaman” star’s allegations that he physically abused her during their 15-month marriage. Recordings of the tumultuous marriage, which started in 2015, have been present throughout the trial, including those in which Heard admitted to hitting Depp. She has said those instances were in self-defense.

He is suing Heard for $50 million in relation to a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she described herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” Heard countersued for $100 million.
