Love Island's Amber Gill revealed that she and Greg O'Shea had a major unseen bust up just days before winning the show.
It wasn't just the £50,000 prize money that was split, the pair also went their separate ways after leaving the villa.
Speaking with YouTuber Murad Merali, she claimed that Greg's tempers flared.
"Me and Greg had the biggest bust-up you could ever imagine like we didn't want to know each other.
"We were like, 'Nah, we're not doing this, it's done,' it was a lot."
Amber added: "We ended up being separated and then we came back together because we did like each other at the time."
Amber had a tough last few weeks in the villa after Michael Griffiths ditched her after a stint in Casa Amor.
But things turned quickly for Amber, who was charmed by rugby player Greg.
After their falling out, they decided to power through as a couple, assuming that they would come fourth.
But as fate would have it, they landed the top spot - which came as a huge surprise for Greg who had only entered the villa just days before the final.
After winning the prize, Greg reportedly left Amber by text, citing their "busy schedules".
Greg said that they were "mad about each other" but needed to be "realistic" as Amber lives in the UK and Greg in Ireland.
Since leaving the show, Amber has scooped 2.6million followers and has recently released a book Until I Met You, which is based on the perfect holiday romance.
The reality winner recently warned this years' contestants in a cryptic post.
She referenced "liars and snakes in the grass" as the new islanders prepare to head to Mallorca.
One of the singles who will be joining the show messaged Amber as part of an Instagram Q&A.
“I will be going on LI this year and need some advice. Sent you a DM but doesn’t go through x,” they wrote.
