Amber Barrett, Prue Leith, Trisha Lewis, Emma Doran, and Nathan Carter will join Ryan Tubridy on this week's Late Late Show.
This summer the Irish women's soccer team will take their place among the nations of the world at this year’s world cup. Their first game will see them face the hosts Australia in front of 83,500 fans in Sydney.
It's all because of a moment of magic from Amber Barrett when she put the ball in the Scottish net last October.
Amber will tell Ryan why that goal and her community in Donegal will forever be intertwined and how she feels ahead of the national team's historic debut at the World Cup this summer.
The Great British Bake-Off judge Prue Leith will talk about her incredibly successful career as a restaurateur, novelist, businesswoman and TV star.
She’ll also discuss her recent documentary which explored the subject of assisted dying and what it’s like to go on tour with a new live stage show about her life.
Trisha Lewis aka Trisha’s Transformation will reveal how she overcame her secret gambling addiction, faced down loan sharks, and cleared the tens of thousands of debt she had built up.
Making her Late Late Show debut, comedian Emma Doran will discuss a life-changing decision she made in lockdown, why she will never forget Courtown and her beef with the Young Scientists.
Straight from the stage of the annual Press Photographers Association of Ireland (PPAI) Awards Ceremony, PPAI president David Branigan will present some of the award-winning press photos of 2022.
The Press Photographer of the Year will also join Ryan and David directly from the award ceremony on Friday night
Plus, Pillow Queens will perform Hearts and Minds and country star Nathan Carter will sing The Morning After.
The Late Late Show, RTÉ One and RTÉ Player, Friday, 9.35pm
