Fans of cleaning guru Mrs Hinch have shared a £1.50 solution to maintain wonderfully white bedding. It promises to turn yellow-stained pillowcases and bed sheets bright white in just moments.

On the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one member asked for the "best washing method" to keep her new sheets pristine. In the post, she wrote: "New white company bedding.

"What is the best washing method to keep it white - other than just a whites wash?" she questioned. Taking to the post, a number of people were in agreement over the same product - Dr Beckmann's white sachets, reports the Mirror.

Dr Beckmann Glowhite is a popular product among households. It retails at the cost-effective price of £1.50.

The item is available to purchase from a variety of stories, including the likes of Amazon, Wilko and Sainsbury's. While Facebook users were quick to praise the Dr Beckmann product, others were keen to share their first-hand advice and opinion on other methods.

One person said: "I always put vanish for whites in my washes." On the other hand, someone suggested: "White vinegar in softener tray, bicarb, always white and smells lovely for longer. Doing this for years. Good luck."
