Keeping on top of what the kids deem fashionable, chic and exciting is a gruelling task. Their interest in toys and games is as fickle as year-round British weather, and choosing a brand-new playtime companion for your little one in time for Christmas from as early as November runs the risk of opting for something that’s no longer popular among the school kids come Boxing Day morning.
But what if there was a way to ensure you could tick off the kids’ Christmas shopping early with the knowledge that they’ll delight in whatever lies in wait for them under the tree this year? Amazon has the answer, and it comes in the form of an expertly curated and hand-picked list of the top ten toys for Christmas 2024.
The bustling virtual shelves are lined with trending toys from iconic franchises such as Play-Doh, Hatchimals and LEGO Star Wars. The list contains options designed to spark creative and imaginative play at a range of prices – including toys and games which are under £20. Should you want to snag an additional festive bargain, you can expect 10 per cent off the RRP of the top toys from November 6 to November 12, 2024.
What’s more, Amazon has partnered with The Felix Project this year to donate hundreds of toys from the must-have list to families in need – just in time for the festive season.
Felix’s Multibank initiative was initially created as a means to redistribute surplus non-food products such as toiletries, baby products, cleaning supplies and bedding, which have been donated by businesses across the country. The initiative has since worked to donate over three million items to over 400,000 families experiencing poverty in the UK. The multibank currently operates from a depot in Greenford and is open five days a week.
The toy sets donated through Amazon’s must-have list will be delivered on the back of a life-size toy train which will stop off at multiple Multibank sites including Felix’s Multibank in London, The Big House Multibank in Scotland, Cwtch Mawr Multibank in Swansea, and Brick-by-Brick Multibank in Wigan.
