Thousands of shoppers have reported Amazon UK is down as they attempt to shop for Christmas.
People have flocked to the website in the lead up to Christmas to buy presents for the festive season. However, many shoppers have logged issues with accessing the website today.
According to Down Detector, more than 2000 people have reported problems with the website since 12pm. Many users have taken to Twitter and said they have been unable to process orders.

Shani said: "Is Amazon down?"
Ben added: "Site down. Doesn’t work on app, safari, google, edge .. site traffic busy, cannot check out"
Vicky posted: "Nooooo the amazon app is down"
Sophie commented: "Sooooo amazon is down"
Another user tweeted: "Amazon down on both app and website. Can't buy anything. Just says you're having difficulties"
Vishal added: "From 15-20mins amazon server is down unable to order anything please check."
People attempting to check out on the site are being shown an alert that says "Sorry, we're experiencing unusually heavy traffic.
"Please try again in a few seconds."
