You may have noticed A-list celebs walking out of high end hotels or Malibu coffee shops with futuristic shades covering their eyes. The Balenciaga glasses have been all the rave recently in Hollywood following their release last year.
Mostly worn by Balenciaga super-fan Kim Kardashian, her peers like Justin Bieber have also been spotted sporting the sci-fi themed specs. Like most things in high end fashion though, they’re not cheap.
A look around the internet and you’ll find that the shades can cost between £250 to £350. But thanks to TikTok, budding fashionistas who are balling on a budget can get the Balenciaga look.
Dupes of the glasses can be found on Amazon for just £15.99. The specs were spotted by TikToker and actor James Edwards whose video about the dupes reached almost 500K views.
Known as the Pro Acme Wrap Around sunglasses, they come in a wide variety of different coloured lens and frames with an almost identical design to Balenciaga’s version.
The glasses are just as practical as Balenciaga’s too with Amazon advertising them as perfect for outdoor sports so you can look good while getting fit this summer.
