Amazon's Fire TV is now so cheap it rivals Samsung and Sony's budget options

Watch out Samsung and Sony - Amazon has dropped the price of its new Fire TV and it could be one of the next biggest budget competitors on the market. Amazon's Fire TV 2-Series features a 720p 32-inch screen and gives you quick access to plenty of popular apps include Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus and more.

And if you're on a tight budget, the Fire TV gives you access to Youtube, Pluto and Freevee so you don't have to worry about spending a penny on subscription service. It also comes bundled with Amazon Alexa with talks and communicates with other products include Amazon's Echo products meaning you can control your lights, cameras and other smart devices in your home.

But now Amazon has decided to slash the price of the TV, meaning it competes with some of the best budget options out there. The Fire TV normally retails for £249.99 but that price has been slashed to just £179.99.

Don't expect amazing picture quality with a 720p and 32-inch screen but if you want a decent budget TV, this might be the one you want. If it sounds a bit too small, then you'll also find a discount on the 40-inch model which is now £229.99 - saving 23% off the standard price.

Along with this mega saving on the Fire TV 2-Series, Amazon is also offering two Echo Dot speakers, worth £109.98, for just £63.98. It's a huge deal for anyone wanting to fill their homes with speakers or wants to grab and Echo and give a friend or family a device as well, reports the Mirror.

The Echo Dot 5th Gen now features improved sound, deeper bass and simple access to Alexa. To redeem the deal you simply need to pop two Echo Dots in your shopping basket and apply the code ECHODOT at the checkout.
