There’s been much excitement surrounding Amazon’s upcoming Fallout TV series, and the first-ever teaser image just dropped.
As part of the Fallout 25th Anniversary celebrations, Prime Video released a promotional shot from the show on Tuesday. It’s clearly from within one of the many Vault dwellings, and an ominous figure stands far off. Two people with Vault 33 jumpsuits are looking on closer at the camera. Hard to say what’s happening story-wise, but the iconography is on-point.
Check out the image for yourself below. Look closely, and you’ll see someone lying on the floor – presumably dead since this is Fallout.

Not a pip-boy in sight though, I’m afraid.
It’s almost a shame that a contextless picture is all we have to go on, but this isn’t surprising since the show only recently went into production. Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of Westworld fame are the lead writers on Fallout. Bethesda’s own Todd Howard is one of several producers on the show, and it will star Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, and many more. Set photos from the show leaked earlier this year but have since vanished.
If all this gets you in the mood for post-apocalyptic adventures, Fallout 4 is getting a new-generation patch soon.
