Amazon Prime Day slash L'OR £110 coffee machine to £50 as part of two day sale

Amazon is slashing the cost of a highly sought after coffee maker as part of its Prime Day sale.

The major sale event is underway, which sees the retail giant reduce prices of thousands of products from to July 12 for Amazon Prime customers.

As part of the extravaganza, espresso fans can get their hands on the L’OR BARISTA Sublime Coffee Machine for £49.99 instead of its original £109.99 price tag.

With an average 4.5 out of five star rating from over 300 reviews, the device's unique double-spouted mechanism works with multiple types of capsules for a variety of drink sizes, Wales Online reports.

Complete with dual recognition technology, the machine can detect every capsule size and brewing pressure to make the right coffee each time and is powered by Phillips. All shoppers need to do is purchase the L’OR BARISTA Sublime coffee machine from the Amazon website through their Amazon Prime account to enjoy this premium machine at less than half price.

BARISTA Sublime users can use a broad range of capsule options including single or double Ristrettos, Espressos, and Lungos, in a range of sizes from regular to the L’OR Barista XXL capsule size. The machine also allows coffee lovers to use the wide range of alternative branded coffee capsules on the market.

Coffee fans can nab the deal from next Tuesday (Amazon/L'OR)

Created in collaboration with designer Khodi Feiz, the compact L’OR BARISTA Sublime Coffee Machine is available in three colours - Piano Noir, Sunset Rubis and Satin Blanc.

Established in 2015, Prime Day is an annual shopping event organized by Amazon, one of the world's largest online retailers. It is a day (and often extends to a multi-day event) dedicated to offering exclusive deals and discounts to Amazon Prime members.

During Prime Day, Amazon offers significant discounts on a wide range of products across various categories, including electronics, home appliances, fashion, beauty, toys, and more. Prime members have the opportunity to take advantage of limited-time deals, flash sales, and exclusive promotions on popular items.

The sale has grown in popularity due to the significant savings it offers and the variety of products available. It is also an opportunity for Amazon to promote its own devices, such as Echo smart speakers, Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, and Fire TV streaming devices - offering substantial discounts on these products during the event.

In addition to product discounts, Prime Day often features special offers on Amazon services, such as Prime Video, Prime Music, and Prime Reading. The event is also known to feature exclusive product launches and early access to new releases.

To participate in Prime Day, individuals must be Amazon Prime members. Amazon Prime is a subscription service that offers benefits like free two-day shipping on eligible items, access to streaming services, cloud storage, and more.

Prime Day serves as an incentive for customers to sign up for or renew their Prime memberships.

Prime Day typically takes place in July, although the exact dates can vary from year to year. The event has expanded beyond a single day, often spanning 48 hours or more. It has gained global recognition and has inspired other retailers to create their own sales events to compete with Amazon's Prime Day.
