What happens on Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is a two-day long major sale run by Amazon where millions of products, including gaming software and hardware, often see major price cuts. A majority of products come down to either their lowest-ever price or close to it, typically only beaten out by Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. In order to browse or purchase these deals, you need to be an Amazon Prime subscriber.
Previously, we have seen gaming hardware such as controllers, headsets and storage expansion cards for the Xbox come down to some of their lowest prices. There is also typically a plethora of PS5 bundle deals to take advantage of, which include free controllers or games. And if you're looking for a whole new gaming PC, you're in luck as entire rigs often go on sale too.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2023 UK?
The confirmed Amazon Prime Day dates are Tuesday, 11 July 2023 and Wednesday, 12 July 2023. Deals will start to go live as soon as the clock strikes midnight on the first day, with more being added over the course of the two days. Sales end at 11:59 PM on the second day. If something you've got your eye on doesn't see a price cut right away such as a PS5 bundle or specific gaming PC, don't be disheartened as Amazon typically stagger the price cuts over the duration of the sale.
