Amazon Prime Day 2022: how to check if you're actually getting a good deal

One of Amazon's biggest online shopping events, aside from Black Friday, is taking place next week and shoppers are expected to save a fortune. Amazon Prime Day will begin on Tuesday, July 12 and will run for two days, with thousands of offers for Prime members.

Shoppers who are signed up to Amazon Prime can take part and get the best deals in the sale, which features discounts on everything from tech, to household appliances, clothing and beauty products. If you're not an Amazon Prime member you can sign up for a free trial here and enjoy not only Amazon Prime Day but also free delivery on millions of items, as well as same day delivery, Prime Video, Amazon Music and more.

Before you commit though, it is firstly worth considering whether you are likely to buy something in the Amazon Prime Day sale and secondly whether the product you want is actually listed as a good deal during the sales event itself.
